From one room to another, from inside to outside, from the outside light to the darkness of the cinema, the filmmaker, echoing Jean-Claude Rousseau, presents an “attempted silent self-portrait”. The windows open half way and close, shadows are cast and fade away. Between appearances and emptiness.
