One of the fading professions in rural villages is searching ponds for things people have lost. Baten, a three-time medal-winning diver, is known for this work. Once he dives into a pond, he never comes back up without finding the lost item. But nowadays, people rarely lose things in ponds anymore. As a result, Baten has become worried about his livelihood and future. On the other hand, Jhumur, the village member’s daughter, is in love with him. Yet Baten, fully aware of his social and economic position, cannot easily express his feelings. Jhumur, however, is unwilling to give up on her love.
