An ambitious young man with African roots grows up together with his friends in the problem areas of Vilvoorde. He wants to end his hopeless existence and dreams of breaking through as a rapper. That dream seems to come true when one day he is approached by a music producer. Unlike his childhood sweetheart with whom he shares his passion for music, his friends don't really believe in that get-rich-quick scheme. One day the boys get hold of a weapon and he suddenly faces a heartbreaking choice. A choice that will determine the rest of his young life. Or: A choice with far-reaching consequences.
